Is Lena Meadowcroft racist? Read her email where she expresses her concerns about the “black neighbors” and you be the judge.
It certainly seems that way, and Meadocroft has a long history of making similar racist remarks in person and on the phone as well.

Thanks for the breakdown in the numbers provided. I did speak to the interested seller. She definitely appears/sounds like a wholesaler. This “partner” is not pre-approved, she emphasized how he has a W2 and would get approved for financing, but wants a financing contingency. Step 1, be pre-approved for lending before shopping for a property. I did tell her to sell this property, it would need to be $375k, especially if it’s to be furnished. I did tell her we had a $355k all cash offer, close in 14 days, without furniture; which meant selling furniture separately, bringing it to $362k sale. If they really are “partners” trying to establish a short-term rental business, they should have no problems coming up in price, especially since I shared with her the rental potential. By the way, none of her questions were about rental potential, booking rates, or anything related to a short-term rental business – which a STR investor would ask. However, a wholesaler will have a problem with coming up in price, because it’s removed their spread.
There are a lot of showings, no one has said anything about the price as it is the lowest priced per square foot home in the zipcode. Main issues, only 2 out of 3 realtors can get access between bookings. There were 3 requests just this weekend to get in on Saturday, but only 1 was willing to reschedule to Sunday. Second issue is the roof, what I have said from the beginning (estimated at $10-12k). Everyone knows they will need a new roof in 2 years, realtors then deter than clients. Third issue is the black neighbors, as I’ve now heard two realtors talk their clients out of the home because the client is white and they saw a black neighbor walking down the street.
